When does a fireman switch need to be installed?

Answer:

Today, there is no legal requirement for a fireman switch to be installed in a solar panel installation, but the fire department has started recommending safety measures to ensure that firefighters can work in buildings with solar panels.

Sometimes it may be included in the construction documents that a fireman switch should be included, so always check with the client what has been decided for each installation.
