How can I build a fire-safe and isolated compartment for ESS batteries?

*NOTE: The information below is directed towards installers. Only trained electricians are allowed to install Ferroamp’s products.

Answer:

Since the battery is manufactured by Pylontech, it is unfortunately difficult for us to provide precise advice, as specific technical questions and installation details are best addressed by the manufacturer. The ESS Force H2 V1 & V2 manual includes instructions on how the battery should be installed (see Chapter 3). For example, it states: "There is no mandatory ventilation requirements for battery module, but please avoid installation in confined area" (p. 14 in the manual for V1 and p. 20 in manual for V2). We recommend contacting the manufacturer for more detailed information.
