Can I connect my EV-Charger to both EnergyHub and the EV-Charger's app?

Answer:

If the EV-charger app also communicates with the EV-charger through OCPP 1.6-J, this requires that the EV-charger can handle multiple OCPP connections. If this is not the case, the integration will require the EV-charger to communicate with the EnergyHub instead of the app, and the app will lose some functionality.

Your app from your electric car manufacturer (Tesla, Volvo, Kia, etc.) will work just like before. You will still be able to use features such as timers, power limits, and other functions offered by the electric car manufacturer in its app and/or in the car's settings as you could before to control when and how you want to charge your electric car.
