Answer:
The SSO operates in the range of 100-720V Vmpp, and we always recommend staying within that range in a string of solar panels. Note that the maximum Vmpp becomes slightly lower if the panel exceeds 12.5 A Impp (absolute maximum is 14 A). This generally does not affect the number of panels, as a higher current usually means a lower voltage.
