What colors should I use for the conductors in the DC network?

*NOTE: The information below is directed towards installers. Only trained electricians are allowed to install Ferroamp’s products.

Typically, in DC systems, the color codes red are used for L+ and black for L-. However, for practical reasons, there isn't a wide variety of cables specifically for DC systems. When using standard AC cables, color coding should primarily follow the IEC standards. The table below indicates the color coding according to IEC and the recommended color coding when different types of AC cabling are used.
