PowerShare is Ferroamp's patented technology for sharing electricity between properties.
PowerShare builds upon Ferroamp's direct current technology and DC grid, but in addition to connecting solar panels and batteries to the DC grid, it also connects additional EnergyHubs linked to their own grid connections.
This allows us to share the electricity produced by solar panels in the DC grid and to share the storage capacity available in batteries between multiple properties.
We can then smartly control the distribution of electricity based on the measurements we gather from each grid connection with the current transformers connected to each EnergyHub.
The DC grid in a PowerShare system can somewhat be likened to a water distribution network where solar panels and batteries act as the water tower and the EnergyHubs in the properties are the taps that release electricity based on the needs of each property.
