Why do I need to connect the EnergyHub to the Internet?

*NOTE: The information below is directed towards installers. Only trained electricians are allowed to install Ferroamp’s products.  


Answer:


Your EnergyHub system can be monitored and controlled via the EnergyCloud Portal. This requires that the system is connected to the Internet. An internet connection is also an easy way for Ferroamp to be able to provide good support and help with adaptations or troubleshooting. If you have batteries in the system, the internet connection is also required for the batteries warranty to apply.
