Does the plus and minus cable have to be separated between the SSO and EnergyHub?

*NOTE: The information below is directed towards installers. Only trained electricians are allowed to install Ferroamp’s products.  


Answer:


The DC cable between the SSO and EnergyHub, like the entire Ferroamp DC network, is safety grounded, and therefore the positive and negative poles do not need to be separated. Cables from solar panels to SSO should still be separated as usual.
