How do I see that all SSOs are in contact with the EnergyHub?

*NOTE: The information below is directed towards installers. Only trained electricians are allowed to install Ferroamp’s products.

Answer:

The EnergyHub continuously searches for components (PLC nodes) in the DC network. When it establishes contact with a Solar String Optimizer (SSO), the component's serial number will be displayed on the SSO status page on the display. It will also become visible in EnergyCloud.

On the SSO, you will see that it has contact with the EnergyHub when the LED on the underside of the SSO lights up with a steady glow.

Example:

To view a list in the display of the SSOs that the EnergyHub has contact with, follow these steps:

  1. Hold your finger on the display for about 5 seconds to enter the service menu.
  2. Swipe your finger in any direction until the following view appears on the display.

    3. Verify that the number of serial numbers matches the number of installed SSOs.
