What does Default mean and what should I think about when setting the different parameters?

Answer:

The Default mode is used when you want to charge or discharge a battery with a constant power or if you want to inactivate the battery so it doesn't run at all. Default mode is often used together with our scheduling function in order to for example charge the battery with a constant power during the night when electricity prices are lower.

Example:

In Default mode, besides inactivating the battery you can charge and discharge the battery manually. This is done by either choosing CHARGE or DISCHARGE. After that, you choose the amount of power that the battery will be charged or discharged with. In order to implement the new settings, you click on Update.

NOTE! The power is limited by the battery's capacity and battery State of Charge (SoC). This means that it is not possible to charge or discharge with a larger power than the components are designed for.
